Why?

Why is there hate in a world built for love?

Why can't we learn and follow our creator above

We take and we take

hoping to gain

we fill our own selfish desires

and bring others pain

Why can't we just be like Jesus

so loving and pure

Giving of ourselves

opening a new door

a door of giving and not asking anything in return

How long will it take man to learn

the light shines so bright

but you keep your eyes closed so tight

You try with all your might

to do everything in your power

that's not right.
