Divorce?

What once was a beautiful rose

now is a dying flower

what once had shimmering petals

now shivers and loses power

where the sun once shined

and caused it's spirit to grow

Now the rain and thunder falls

and strikes with harmful blows

the flower upheld

by a weakening stem

possible to turn back - to dust once again
