What is beautiful?

What is beautiful? Many often ask.

Some see beauty as make-up and jewels

Nicely shaped figures, long legs and no rules

Others see beauty as natural and clean

white teeth, nice clothes and a body that's lean

there are some, although, that see beauty as love

a kindness and joy that only comes from above

a hand lifted out to help ease their pain

when they cried out for help, it was beauty that came

these people weren't talking about glamour and glitz

nor all shades of colors to put on their lips

they were talking of beauty that only comes from inside

the kind of person whom you can trust in and confide

it's the kind of beauty that comes from the heart

that is willing to help when you feel torn apart

But beauty is to each his own,

no matter the reflection, it's never alone
